On the page that talks about not being ready to release an updated Northwind database (http://www.codeplex.com/NorthwindCommunity/) it would be helpful to mention that the old version of Northwind, and Pubs, are available here: http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/northwind/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=1401

If a reader doesn't take into account the historical lineage of these databases (as I recently failed to do) he or she might take an inordinate amount of time (as I recently did) to figure out that the setup files for these dbs are accessible via the SQL 2000 link on one of the other pages.

Just a thought.
